Life Skills: Literacy, Numeracy and Health education for rural women Funded by Cabrini Health and Planet Wheeler Foundation

Outcomes - Women are now able to read and write and can therefore bond more freely with their school going children. The families are eating healthier food, their hygiene is better and this knowledge can be passed on to other women in the village.
Awareness of the dangers of infant and maternal mortality have been highlghted and despite a lack of hospitals and female doctors, progress is being made in the villages where AADO works.
